About
I learned the internet on a ThinkPad with a dial-up modem and never quite got over it.
I'm a product manager who came up the long way: retail, an agency, consulting. I build software, shoot film, and tinker with things until I understand them. I work best when there's something real to make and people I'd want to spend time with anyway.
Now I'm back on Eastern Standard Time, building Third Gear Shop. Still keeping things around that most people would throw away.

Built and grew online audiences as a teenager. A WordPress fan site for a video game, branded social accounts, a Facebook page in character that hit nineteen thousand followers. Edited comedic videos with friends and worked on a TV production that actually aired.

2014 — 2016
Picked up a camera and didn't put it down. Got serious about landscapes and portraits, freelanced photo and design work for real clients. Drove across the country alone at eighteen and camped through the Pacific Northwest, California, Wyoming, and Colorado. Spent a stretch on a farm in Cusco, Peru. Got comfortable roughing it.
